The service
Sextant provides strategic advisory services under a written scope agreed before any engagement begins.
Fees
Fixed where stated, agreed in writing, invoiced as scheduled in the scope. Day-rate work is billed monthly.
Your obligations
Timely access to the people and data the scope requires. Decisions remain yours; we advise, you decide.
Confidentiality
Mutual, indefinite for trade secrets, five years for everything else. Case studies are published only with written consent.
Liability
Capped at fees paid in the preceding six months. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Governing law
California, with disputes resolved first by good-faith negotiation between principals.
